The stack uses TypeScript, Node.js with Express, a Next.js React frontend, a PostGraphile GraphQL API, Apollo client on the frontend, graphile-migrate for migrations, and optional Docker support.

Migrations are managed with graphile-migrate using an idempotent migrations/current.sql file; the repo includes an initial committed migration that builds the user system.

Yes. PostGraphile is configured with @graphile/pg-pubsub and Apollo is set up to consume realtime database events.

In development emails are routed to Ethereal (no real deliveries). In production the project is configured to use Amazon SES by default but can be reconfigured to other transports.
