Grpc Spring Boot Starter

Published on Maven Central as io.github.lognet:grpc-spring-boot-starter and available with a Gradle plugin (id io.github.lognet.grpc-spring-boot). The starter pulls io.grpc:grpc-netty-shaded by default as the transport.

Supports a Netty-based server (shaded or pure grpc-netty) and an in-process server for tests; Netty-specific settings are configurable under the grpc.netty-server prefix.

Integrates with Spring Security and supports Basic, Bearer (JWT) and custom authentication schemes. Security is enabled when spring-security is on the classpath and can be customized via GrpcSecurityConfigurerAdapter or disabled with grpc.security.auth.enabled=false.

Integrates with Micrometer to expose grpc.server.calls metrics, exposes Actuator endpoints (including /actuator/grpc and health) and Prometheus via micrometer-registry-prometheus, and can auto-register services in Consul or Eureka when the corresponding Spring Cloud starters are present.
