Electrate

Source files are compiled and copied into an app folder that the Electron main process loads directly, removing the need for a background dev server and associated CORS restrictions.

Packaging uses electron-builder with configuration in package.json; running the release script produces distributable installers/artifacts in the dist output.

The project references Jest for tests; test files with the extension *.test.js can be executed via the npm test script.

The template is released under the Creative Commons Public Domain (CC0) license as indicated in the repository.
