The template targets Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge) using Manifest V3. Firefox and other browsers that support WebExtensions may require browser-specific manifest fields and additional testing.

The output is MV3-compatible and produces a distributable in the dist folder, but publishing still requires complying with store policies, adding required metadata, and submitting through the store's developer dashboard.

The project uses Bun for package management, development scripts, and build tasks; the built extension is emitted to the dist folder for loading as an unpacked extension.
